Brave Festival Workshops

About

In these drop-in workshops, you’ll be guided through the basics of Mas Making, (short for masquerade), designing and making your own vibrant carnival-inspired costume pieces with fantastic maker Pam Crawford.

No experience needed, just bring your imagination.

Make sure to come back at 17:40 to put on your creations and join the BRAVE Festival Carnival Parade around the building from 18:00.

And don’t forget to book your ticket for the Saturday BRAVE Finale of Soca Dance and Steel Pan Performances at 18:15. The perfect way to round off the celebration.

BRAVE Festival is run by Swirl Education and supported using public funding by Arts Council England, Bradford 2025 and Bradford Metropolitan District Council.
