BRAVE Festival is back and bolder than ever! Join us this Black History Month for a joyful weekend that celebrates the power, beauty, and brilliance of Black culture through the arts.

Taking place on 18th and 19th October 2025, BRAVE brings together a vibrant mix of professional artists, community performers, and local creatives for an unforgettable celebration of Black roots and voices.

What to Expect:

Dynamic Performances from artists rooted in Black cultural traditions.

Interactive Workshops in African dance and drumming, Caribbean Carnival dance, Steel Pan, Swing, and more.

Creative Activities like costume-making and storytelling for all ages

A welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with something for everyone

BRAVE Festival is run by Swirl Education and supported using public funding by Arts Council England, Bradford 2025 and Bradford Metropolitan District Council.
