African Drums from Canva.

About

Get ready to feel the rhythm! Join this fun, hands-on introduction to African drumming, where you’ll learn to play two classic rhythms at a time.

Explore the energy of traditional Kuku and Ewe rhythms in a call-and-response style, guided by an expert who will call out each rhythm’s name, making it easy to follow. You’ll discover the techniques drummers across Africa use to play together; creating the polyrhythmic, layered sounds that make African drumming so captivating.

No experience necessary, just bring your hands, your energy, and your enthusiasm! You’ll leave the session feeling like a pro, with the joy of rhythm coursing through your veins.

Suitable for age 5+.
