Derek and Jon are trying to make sense of a world where nothing quite adds up – where “stop” means “go” and “up” is suddenly “down”. Everyone else seems to understand the rules, but what if you don’t?

Through movement, visual storytelling and gentle humour, Boxed In explores the hidden rules of behaviour and unspoken attitudes – inviting us all to imagine a world where everyone belongs.

It’s a largely non-verbal show for anyone who’s ever felt a bit confused, a bit left out… or a bit boxed in.
