A group of walkers at a trig point

About

Meet walks leaders Stephen Wolstenholme and Sam Shaju at Baildon Station at 9.30am for a 10 mile circular walk of some highlights of Baildon Moor. Our route will take us via Tong Park- Spring Woods- Sconce Lane- Dalesway Link path through Golcar Farm- Trench Woods, stopping at small dam for lunch- onto River Aire footpath through Roberts Park- join canal to Dockfield Road- crossing bridge behind Saltaire Brewery to join River Aire footpath to Buck Lane- crossing Otley Road at pedestrian crossing- returning to station via Roundwood Road for around 3pm. Bring a packed lunch. This is an undulating route with a number and variety of stiles and mixed terrain. The riverside footpath towards Denso is particularly uneven under foot requiring extra care.

Please come suitably dressed for the weather conditions on the day of the walk.
