A group of walkers on a moor

About

Join Bob Davidson, Stephen Wolstenholme, and Jan Thom for a Baildon Walkers are Welcome walk as part of Yorkshire Day. Meet at Baildon Station to catch the 9.56 train to Burley. The leaders will take you on field paths, old tracks and over moorland to head back to Baildon via Faweather Grange and Sconce. Start in Wharfedale and finish above Airedale. Great views of both. This is a 5 mile walk taking about 3 to 3.5 hours . Gradients are moderate and the pace will be medium.  The walk is of moderate difficulty. Bring a packed lunch and water. Be prepared for sunshine or rain – this is Yorkshire! Sturdy footwear needed. Please allow enough time at Baildon Station to buy your ticket from the machine or use the Northern Rail app to buy in advance. Expected return time to Baildon 1.30pm. All are welcome but we are not able to include dogs - unless an assistance dog. Any updates will be on the Baildon WAW Facebook page.
