About

Led by Anirudh Varma, the Collective is a contemporary ensemble rooted in Indian classical and folk traditions. We create dynamic, cross-genre experiences that take India’s timeless music to global audiences and foster collaborations with artists across the world.

The Anirudh Varma Collective Classical Quintet is a contemporary Indian classical ensemble led by Anirudh Varma. Rooted in the spirit of the traditional baithak, the quintet reimagines Indian classical compositions through improvisation, harmony, and spontaneous musical dialogue. Blending tradition with a contemporary sensibility, their music creates an intimate and immersive experience shaped by shared energy, emotion, and exploration.
