A painting of a wooded path

About

Every journey leaves its mark. Some paths are chosen with purpose, while others emerge through chance, curiosity or perseverance. ‘A Path Well Travelled’ celebrates the physical and emotional landscapes we cross and the experiences that shape who we become.
The works brought together in this exhibition reflect on memory, movement, place and the passage of time. Through their diverse perspectives, each artist offers a unique interpretation of what it means to travel a path, whether through life, nature, culture or personal transformation.

‘A Path Well Travelled’ is an invitation to pause and consider the journeys that have brought us to this moment, and those that may still lie ahead.
The Solar Gallery is a collective of around 30 talented local artists, working across ceramics, glass, jewellery, printmaking, painting and drawing. Whether you are searching for your next piece, a card or a present, or simply a wonderful way to spend a weekend afternoon, visit and discover the creativity of Ilkley’s artistic community
