A tour of the cemetery covering some of Bradford’s most well known Victorian Retailers, two of these are still operating today. The retailers will include -
Rimmingtons - Pharmacy and analytical chemist
Brown Muffs Department Store - ‘The Harrods of the North’
Market trader - William Hardaker (Humbug Billy) who accidentally poisoned over 200 of his customers
Christopher Pratt, Furniture and Upholstery - manufacturers and retailers.
Lingards Department Store - Bombed by the Luftwaffe during the Second World War
Manoah Rhodes - Silversmith
Photographers and film makers - Thomas William and Richard James Appleton
