Details
Set within the grounds of Lister Park, Bradford’s civic art gallery, Cartwright Hall, showcases an unrivalled public collection of the work of Bradford-born artist David Hockney. Cartwright Hall, thought to be the place where Hockney found inspiration as a child, houses a collection of his work from his formative years right through to the present day.
Special emphasis is also given to how the landscape, people and culture of Yorkshire and Bradford helped mould him into the man who is regarded by many as ‘Britain’s greatest living artist’. Join our gallery tour guide for a special insight into Hockney’s world.
