Details
White Wells opens between 10am and 5pm on New Year's day. For visitors wishing to take the plunge a changing area is available (2 cubicles). Visitors must bring their own swimming costumes and towels. Plunging is on a first come first served basis. Queues build up during the day for the changing facilities. There is no charge for plunging, however, participants can throw loose change into the bath, buy a certificate to mark the occassion and of course support the cafe via the purchase of hot snacks and drinks.
Plunging is taken at the bathers own risk, and due to the historic nature and design of the plunge bath may be unsuitable for use by some disabled visitors.
White Wells accept cash: Sterling or Euros. (However, if you pay in Euros you will receive any change in Euros). Cheques are accepted with a valid bank card for sums over £10.00.
