The Regency Hall is a 10 minute walk from the city centre, take the direct route down Church Bank via Bradford Cathedral or turn left onto Peckover Street and enjoy a stroll through Little Germany, an area of elegant Victorian buildings, many of them listed, created by the citys wealthy wool merchants as warehouses and offices. Look out for the beautiful architectural details and some more recent additions – Grandad’s Clock and Chair on Chapel Street and Hockney, A Portrait in Nails at the junction of Chapel Street and Peckover Street. The area is often used as a filming location and you may spot some familiar scenes from series including Peaky Blinders and Downton Abbey.

As you arrive into the city centre you’ll meet The Broadway shopping centre – where you’ll find all the high street names, plus dining choices and The Light cinema. From here it’s out into the city centre, DON’T MISS the beautiful Waterstones bookshop located in the historic Wool Exchange, one of the city’s landmark buildings, and take the opportunity to explore Sunbridge Wells, the historic underground venue with bars and dining venues. Veiw the the fountains on City Park and pop in to see the latest exhibition at the Impressions Gallery or head towards the National Science and Media Museum, this northern outpost of the Science Museum is packed with interactive exhibits, exciting exhibitions and wonderful cinema.

You’ll find cafes, coffee shops, pubs and bars across the city, perfect to relax and plan your next adventures and of course plenty of dining options from Italian favourites and fantastic curry to traditional pub classics.

If you’re staying into the evening, check the listings, the Alhambra Theatre is regarded as the North's premier touring venue, while for music and comedy St George’s Hall is the place to be. There are also plenty of smaller venues across the city with regular live music and evening entertainment.
