This is a walk of moderate difficulty with options to shorten at two points and use buses to return to the village centre.
Walk Waypoints
- 1 Begin the walk at the Potted Meat Stick and head up Northgate.
- 2 Turn right down Jenny Lane.
- 3 Turn left to pass between a recreation ground and a cricket pitch.
- 4 Turn right past some stables.
- 5 Bear right and head up towards the scouts campsite.
- 6 Turn left and follow the paths through Golcar Farm and across Spring Lane.
- 7 Head into the woodlands which run alongside Glen Road.
- 8 Walk along Baildon Bank and back into town to return to the starting point.
