About

Pickersgill Manor Farm is a family run, working sheep farm situated on Silsden Moor, above the town of Silsden and neatly placed between Ilkley and Skipton. On arrival you will receive a warm welcome.

We have received a four star rating, a Silver Award and a Breakfast Award from VisitEngland.

A full Yorkshire breakfast is served around the big table in the farmhouse kitchen. We serve hearty Yorkshire breakfast with our own home reared pork and eggs, delicious bread, as well as tea and coffee from Betty's Cafe.

We offer accommodation in two large double rooms. They all have excellent views, colour televisions, comfortable sofas, crisp white Eygptian cotton bed linen, soft white towels and Neal's Yard Toiletries. Tea and coffee making facilities and central heating also feature. One of our rooms is suitable for families (2 adults and up to 2 children), prices available on enquiry, we also have a ground floor room which is more accessible for those who are not good with stairs or for those who use a wheelchair (not graded).

At the farm we also offer supper on a tray and packed lunches are also available. We welcome couples, families and visitors working in the area.

Pickersgill Manor Farm is an ideal base for sight-seeing in Yorkshire and the Dales, Bolton Abbey, Skipton, Bronte Country and Ilkley are all within a short drive. The spa town of Harrogate, historic York, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Leeds and Bradford are all within easy driving distance.

Walkers will find scenery and routes to suit all abilities. Whether you prefer a gentle stroll at Bolton Abbey or a long walk over the limestone uplands, there's a walk to suit everyone.

There are also canal trips in Skipton, railway excursions in Keighley and Bolton Abbey, horse riding and every major village has its own agricultural show during the summer.

Keen mill shoppers will have the choice between Boundary Mills, Scartop, Owaldtwistle Mills and Watershed Mill.

For evenings out, there are a host of excellent pubs and restaurants in the surrounding towns and villages.

Facilities for children: Toys, cot, highchair.
