Addingham Heritage Group (part of Addingham Civic Society) have an exhibition in The Hub in Addingham, above the Library on Main Street, that commemorates the role played by Addingham men in the Victory over Japan, with stories of their lives and experiences as well as reports of the celebrations in Addingham that followed the surrender of Japan. Keighley Model Club have kindly loaned a number of models of events and equipment, including a scale model of the USS Missouri on which the peace treaty was signed. Other exhibits include a contemporary copy of the London Illustrated News and a Panga (a type of machete) given as a gift to the father of a current Parish Councillor who was shot down in Burma.
