Formed in 2007 and based in Manchester—the birthplace of The Smiths—Viva Morrissey is a six-piece tribute band renowned for their authentic and accurate portrayal of Morrissey’s solo performances. Unlike typical Smiths tributes, Viva Morrissey focuses on the energy and style of Morrissey's present-day live shows.

After a long hiatus, the band made a triumphant return to the stage in late 2022 and has been captivating audiences throughout 2023. In 2024, they celebrate the 20th anniversary of Morrissey’s landmark album You Are The Quarry by performing it in full, track by track, followed by a set of beloved classics from both Morrissey and The Smiths.
