About

Baildon Walkers are Welcome invite you to join our Second Saturday Guided Walk in the Baildon area - a 6.8-mile circular route taking in varied woodland and open fields. This enjoyable walk will also pass through the village of Esholt, well known as the filming location of the ‘Emmerdale’ Woolpack pub.

We will meet at Baildon railway station for a 10am start, aiming to return by around 2pm. Those who wish can pause for refreshments at The Woolpack before heading back. The walk is generally good underfoot, so strong shoes should be sufficient, and there is just one easy stile to cross.

Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather and bring a packed lunch and plenty of water to enjoy along the way.

Trains from Shipley arrive in Baildon at 9.56am and from Guiseley at 9.42am, making the start point accessible by public transport.

We are sorry but the dogs cannot be accepted on our guided walks.

No prebooking is required. The walk is free, however, it is a condition
of the Midweek Wayfarer Group’s Public Liability Insurance Policy that all walkers with the group are club Members. One day membership costs £1.
