River Aire and Roberts Park at Saltaire

About

Step back in time to the 1940s at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire.  Take a stroll through Roberts Park to see the 1940s re-enactment display, dance the night away in the marquee with a proper parquet dance floor, and admire a collection of small military vehicles and classic cars, including locally manufactured Jowett cars.  Don't miss the vintage camping display featuring classic caravans and campers, and keep an eye out for vintage policemen, prams, and poodles!

It's time to put on your best 40s clothes and take a trip back in time.  Even the medical services will be dressed in vintage attire and will have a vintage medical tent.

Indulge in delicious food at the vintage stalls and catering options.

But that is not everything! Enjoy a performance of Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew' at the park's bandstand at 14:00 and 19:00 both days, and catch a Saltaire Cricket Club cricket match starting around 13:00.
