Trio of Potato Illustrations.

About

Potato Day arrives at Darley Street Market, with pop‑up stalls on the Fresh Food Floor where the West Yorkshire Organic Group will be selling hundreds of locally grown seed potatoes for 20p each (cash‑only, and don’t forget your own bags). These seed potatoes come in a range of varieties (to be announced nearer the time) and can be planted in a foot of soil to produce your own crop just three months later. The team will also be on hand to offer growing tips, advice and help choosing the right varieties for you.

You can also come along to a special Super Potato’ workshop from 11:00–15:00 to explore potato‑themed arts and crafts, offering plenty of family fun.
