A man with a guitar

About

Pete Morton is a singer and entertainer who is often referred to as an old time troubadour. He delivers an unruly freewheeling mix of storytelling, comedy and song that weaves it's way around the folk tradition. His current show 'Sailor Swift - 400 Years Of Song' is a joyful ramble through time (not necessarily in the right order), in the style of the talking blues, as well as unleashing popular singalong chorus from the last 400 years.

Pete Kenny describes the show as follows: The premise of the show is that the friendly ghost of a sailor haunts an old pub, meeting and talking with people through the centuries, the famous and infamous, observing the changing world with a smile and a quick wit, singing popular songs from times gone by.
