Join Leeds-based ceramic artist Sophia Matty for a hands-on clay workshop designed for children aged 6 to 14. With extensive teaching experience across pottery studios, Sophia will guide participants through handbuilding techniques to create their own sculptural clay pieces.

What’s Included Children will explore a variety of handbuilding methods using clay and tools provided. All materials are included.

Parent/Guardian Info Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adults are welcome to relax in the adjoining room and enjoy refreshments from the on-site vegetarian café, Plenty.

Accessibility The workshop takes place in the first-floor Community Room at South Square Centre, Thornton Road, BD13 3LD. Step-free access is available via stair lift, and seating will be provided for those who prefer to sit during the session.
