About

Cyclists are invited to kick off Car Free Day with a free Bikers' Breakfast at Caffè Brigante, located in Darley Street Market, between 08:30 and 10:00. Hosted by the Active Travel team, the event offers a complimentary hot drink and pastry to those who choose to bike, walk, or use public transport.

Bike owners can also have their cycles marked and registered with BikeRegister, the national police-preferred database that helps recover stolen bikes.

From 12:00-14:00, visitors can explore information stalls from Living Well, WYCA, and British Cycling, highlighting local wellbeing and Active Travel initiatives.
