About

Join our walks leaders, Pauling and John Mapplebeck, for a 6.5 mile circular walk, starting from Baildon Railway Station at 10.00am. After passing Tong Reservoir, the route ascends to give extensive views, before crossing the golf course and farmland to reach Guiseley. This walk will include a couple of ascents, mostly on good paths, and some stiles to cross. Our return will take us through the lovely Esholt Woods, Esholt Village, and back to Baildon Railway Station. The route is Walk 5 from the Baildon Walkers are Welcome “Six Walks for Self-Guiding from Baildon Railway Station” (available - plus our other two walks books for self-guiding,  from Baildon Library). Bring drinks and a packed lunch. Anticipated return time between 14.00 and 15.00.
