Meet walks leaders Bob Davidson and Barbara Walker at the main entrance to Roberts Park, by the lodge and playground on the Baildon side of the River Aire at 10.00am.
The Creamery team are looking forward to showing us the processes involved in making cheese and offering a tasting. We will walk through Roberts Park and pick up the riverside path to the Aqueduct before joining the canal towpath and local footpaths taking us into Bingley. At 2.5 - 3 miles, this is an easy walk with very little ascent and one stile.
This is a linear walk which will finish in Bingley by 12.00 after the visit. You may want to walk back finding your own way or use public transport. The Creamery is opposite Bingley Station where you can catch a train back to Saltaire or there is a bus stop outside the Creamery for a bus back to Shipley to connect with Baildon buses.
