Whatever the weather, we invite you to put on your boots and start the New Year with some bracing fresh air in congenial company.  Meet walks leaders Barbara Walker and Colin Jarvis at 11.00 from the Potted Meat Stick in the centre of Baildon (BD17 6ND). We shall head through the village past Dove Hall to Hope Hill and Dobrudden.  Continuing across the golf course and Sconce Crag we will arrive at the campsite at Sconce where we can eat our lunch in comfort should the weather be inclement. (Bring any leftovers to share if you wish.) Then we will head to Low Springs and to Tong Park Dam via Gill Beck valley and return to the start point. The walk will traverse several stiles, and some good tracks with sections of uneven ground. Likely to be muddy. 6 miles.
