On Armed Forces’ Day, Saturday 28 June, there will be a celebratory event in Market Street, Bradford.

The event will open with a Drum Head Service at 11am and run until 4pm.

Bradford residents will have the opportunity to stand together and celebrate the men and women, both past and present, who serve our country. They will also have the opportunity to make their own personal pledge of support to the Armed Forces community.

Stalls will be available offering family friendly activities along with exhibitors from across the district providing information on the heritage of the district and showcasing work to preserve the memory of those who have served, including our local Covenant Partnership.

There will face painting and other activities to be announced for youngsters to enjoy free of charge.

Happening alongside the Bradford Literature Festival; there will be lots of activities on offer for all to enjoy.
