The Funk Cats, is a English Funk music collective founded by guitarist -
Luke Lee Lachhar. Inspired by the music of his late mother and father.
Since 2017 The Funk Cats has gradually built up an ensemble of over 15 musicians, playing all over the UK and Netherlands.

Channeling acts like Jimi Hendrix and Prince The Funk Cats have a psychedelic funk- rock focus, with a diverse band format, blending James Brown and Sly Stone derived funk with 1960s psychedelia and movie like Sci-Fi themes whilst jumping into the heavy rock riffs and hip hop the front man for up coming tour - Anokh Goodman is a seasoned wordsmith, who has gained recognition and nororeity on the UK hip hop scene. Blending complex wordplay with meaningful lyrics, with potent delivery.

Screams of Youth, formerly Revolver formed in 2018, are a three piece rock/grunge band from Yorkshire. The band is heavily influenced by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Radiohead and Stone Temple Pilots. They formed in 2021 after the departure of Revolver's bassist Ibrahim Shendi in early 2021. Not long after however, Guitarist and vocalist Ben McManus and Drummer Thomas Demain found their new bassist, Tom Smurthwaite. After the lineup change, Revolver decided to change their name as well. This is where Screams of Youth were born.

Although under the new band name, Screams of Youth still kept all of their original songs. This also includes the debut EP Distortion which the band recorded in February 2020 at Corner House Recording Studio. However because of the global COVID 19 pandemic, the band's EP did not perform as well as they had previously hoped. Over the next 16 months the band did not perform at all in front of a crowd and were restricted to rehearsing at Jam on Top Recording Studios.

In July 2021 the band recorded their debut single Resurrection at Corner House Recording Studio. The single was then released by the band on 1st October.
In February of 2022, the band went back into the studio to record what was soon to be the second half of Distortion. During the build up to the release of this "New EP" the band planned to feature the 3 new songs in the previous EP which was recorded 2 years prior. This is where Screams of Youth's Distortion came to be.
