Andrew Michael Hurley comes to Haworth to discuss his new novel Starve Acre, a devastating new novel about the way in which grief splits the world in two and how, in searching for hope, we can so easily unearth horror.

Andrew Michael Hurley is based in Lancashire. His first novel, The Loney (2014), was described as ‘an amazing piece of fiction’ by none other than Stephen King, and won the Costa Best First Novel Award. It has been published in twenty languages. His second novel, Devil’s Day, won the Encore Award. Starve Acre is his third novel.
