Shopfront

About

Frequented by Branwell when the Bronte family lived in Haworth, this historic building has been restored to its former glory as a Victorian druggist and apothecary shop. Owners Patricia & Caroline Rose have collected many of the magnificent antique shop fittings you see inside the shop and the interior has evolved and developed over the past 30 years as more antique pieces have been salvaged from chemists, grocery shops and museums.

This beautiful shop interior with its starry sky ceiling provides the perfect setting for an enchanting range of artisan candles, botanical soaps and therapeutic bath powders - beautifully packaged and handmade on the premises, along with extraordinary gifts and curios inspired by the Cabinets of Curiosity or "wonder-rooms" of old. Tucked away at the back of the shop is Cauldron Books, housing a charming collection of magical books and papers.
