Enjoy a month of family-friendly nature, wildlife and creative activities at Bracken Hall Countryside Centre on Shipley Glen. From arts and crafts to guided walks, bat-themed events and the unique Harmonic Fields installation, there's something for all ages throughout September.

Drop-In Weekends
Every Saturday & Sunday, 12pm to 4pm
Take part in art and craft activities, follow the wildlife garden trail, and explore exhibitions showcasing the local history, heritage and natural environment of Shipley Glen and Baildon Moor.

Harmonic Fields, Baildon Moor
9 to 13 September, 12pm to 6pm
Visit Bracken Hall before or after experiencing Harmonic Fields, a fascinating outdoor installation of wind and nature-powered musical instruments on Baildon Moor. Exhibitions, refreshments and toilet facilities available.

12 to 13 September, 11am to 4pm
Drop-in arts, crafts and family activities inspired by the Harmonic Fields installation.

Bat Walk
11 September, 7pm
Join a bat talk and guided evening walk through Shipley Glen woods using bat detectors. Please bring a torch.

Bradford Pennine Nature Reserve Challenge Walk
19 September
Take on an 18-mile challenge walk across the Bradford Pennine Gateway National Nature Reserve or choose from a selection of shorter routes.

Nature's Big Day Out
19 September, 11am to 3pm
A free family event featuring den building, foraging, bug hunting, nature play, creative activities and workshops led by wildlife experts.

Bat Box Making
26 September, 12pm to 4pm
Create your own bat box with the Baildon, Shipley & Saltaire Men's Shed. Free drop-in session. Donations welcome.

Trees, Leaves and Seeds Art
27 September, 12.30pm to 3.30pm
Drop-in art workshop with artist Emma Bairstow, inspired by nature and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
