Toothill Tours is part of Joanne-edutainment and offers costume guided tours of UNESCO World Heritage Village Saltaire.
On the first weekend of the month you can follow Pollie, real life Victorian resident of the village circa 1871, hear about Sir Titus Salt who built the village, why Saltaire and learn about village life, the scandal(!), visit key public buildings of the time and the houses where mill workers and overlookers lived.
Or on the first Sunday of the month, take the new tour which will have two historic costume guides, Pollie Toothill resident Victorian in Saltaire will give a potted history of Titus Salt and some of the characters living in the village at the time he was around. Then we'll walk over to board the Time Machine, AKA The magical Shipley Glen Tramway and will travel in time to another destination and time zone and Pollie will turn into Nell Kenney, Suffragette who will tell her and her sisters' stories of their campaign for Votes for Women.

Pollie Toothill also gives animated costumed talks to various historical groups, Rotary, WI and private bookings throughout the year.
