Discover the lives and work of eight past Shipley and Saltaire artists with Colin Neville, alongside an illustrated history of the Saltaire School of Art.

Colin Neville, curator of the Not Just Hockney website, will illustrate the lives and artwork of eight past visual artists who lived in the Shipley and Saltaire areas: Lise Bayer, George Brumfitt, Jack Coulthard, Margaret Firth, Govinder Nazram, Fred and May Stead, and William Capeling Stevens. He will also present a brief illustrated history of the Saltaire School of Art, founded in 1870, that played an important part in the careers of many local artists. Colin’s new book, ‘Past Shipley Artists’, will also be available for sale, priced £8.
