About

Crochet Storage Baskets Workshop

Discover how to crochet your own stylish and practical storage baskets in this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop. Using a chunky 6mm crochet hook and 5mm recycled cotton braid, you'll create two useful baskets that are perfect for organising your home or workspace.

During the session, you'll make:

  • Medium Basket (approx. H9cm x W15cm) with a wooden basket base
  • Mini Basket (approx. H10cm x W10cm) with a wooden basket base

Ideal for storing toiletries, jewellery, stationery, craft supplies, sweets, keepsakes and more, these handcrafted baskets also make thoughtful gifts.

No previous crochet experience is needed. All materials are included, along with a crochet pattern to take home and two faux leather tags for a professional finishing touch. You'll work with premium Oeko-Tex certified cotton yarn from Bobbiny, with a selection of colours available to choose from on the day.

The workshop is led by Mareike Schmidt, who specialises in modern crochet projects for home décor and accessories. Passionate about colour, texture and contemporary design, Mareike enjoys helping others discover the creative possibilities of crochet.
