Meet walks leaders Pauline and John Mapplebeck at the Potted Meat Stick in the centre of Baildon (BD17 6ND - close to central bus stop and adjacent to car park) for a 10:30 start. (Please bring a packed lunch.) The distance is 5 miles. We will set off from the centre of Baildon, down a grassy track to Tong Park and the Gill Beck valley, before ascending the other side of the valley, around the golf course.  We then cross Hollins Hill and follow an ancient walled track to Esholt, where there is a village shop selling hot and cold drinks. We will do a short detour to have our lunch in the small park near the famous Woolpack Inn.  After refreshment, we continue our walk through the village to the tree-lined river bank and Denso Marston nature reserve and then ascend to the old hamlet of Brook Hill. Our walk will officially end at the junction with Station Road by around 3:00.

Please come suitably dressed for the weather conditions on the day of the walk.

We cannot accept dogs other than assistance dogs on our walks.
