A poster for the show featuring Elvis tribute artist JD King

About

The Show is a replica of the January 14th 1973 Aloha from Hawaii show that Elvis himself did which not only raised $75000 dollars for the Kui Lee Cancer Charity but was seen Globally by 36% of the worlds population, making this concert one of the largest on record. All this without the internet and mobile smart devices.

This JD King Concert is an Anniversary concert which is being staged to raise money for the Huddersfield to Ukraine Humanitarian Aid group in order to help them to maintain their efforts delivering a wide range of humanitarian aid to the beleaguered people there. Since 2022 they have delivered over 700 tons of aid  – much of it to the front line where it is needed most, and accompanied by the group leader Tim Marsden who ensures that the aid goes to those who are in need .

The Rotary Club of Adventurers and the Aire Valley Eagles Rotary Group are committed to help this amazing group for as long as it takes. Tim Marsden is a Corporate Member of the Adventurers Rotary Club and recently received a prestigious ”Service above Self” award from Rotary International of which only 150 are awarded annually.

A short video featuring Tims efforts in Ukraine will be shown prior to the Aloha show
