About

In this workshop you will discover the foundations of Majorette Baton Twirling, including proper grips, spins, tosses, catches footwork, and graceful body movements. 

Sophie, our expert instructor will guide you through step-by-step instructions, ensuring a solid grasp of the essential techniques. 

Did you know, the first majorette troupe was The Golden Girls, a Black, all-female troupe in America.

Suitable for ages 7+

This workshop is accessible for people with disabilities attending with support. 

BRAVE Festival is run by Swirl Education and supported using public funding by Arts Council England, Bradford 2025 and Bradford Metropolitan District Council.
