Yorkshire Proms

About

A fantastic night of music and song to celebrate Yorkshire Day in proper Yorkshire style.

The first ever Yorkshire Proms brings together the full Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ben Crick, Bantam of the Opera choir, Bradford Festival Choral Society and a host of special guests for a concert that any and every music enthusiast will enjoy.

The evening will include orchestral works by Jarrod Royles Atkins, Ernest Farrar, Delius, John Barry, a medley of Yorkshire folk songs and special performances by Bradford Festival Choral Society and the Bantam of the Opera choir.

And a Yorkshire Proms would not be a Yorkshire Proms without audience participation, so expect a rousing sing along for everyone to enjoy, including Land of Hope and GloryJerusalem and of course On Ilkla Moor Baht ‘at.

Bring a Yorkshire Flag. It’s going to an amazing concert and one you definitely don’t want to miss.
