About
The Ukrainian community in Keighley warmly invites everyone to the Ukrainian Cultural Festival. This will be the third annual festival, and this year it will take place at Airedale Shopping Centre.
Visitors can enjoy live music from Ukrainian performers, including our special guest – the Bradford-based Dibrova Male Choir.
As always, there will be delicious Ukrainian food, including one of the most famous dishes of Ukrainian cuisine – varenyky (traditional dumplings), as well as hot drinks and homemade pastries.
A spring and Easter craft market will also be open, where you can see and buy beautiful handmade items created by Ukrainian artisans.
Throughout the festival you will be able to take part in a range of creative workshops, including:
Petrykivka painting, Pysanky (decorating Easter eggs using the traditional wax-resist technique), gingerbread decorating, crepe paper flower making, making traditional Motanka dolls from yarn and fabric, Maria Prymachenko style painting.
We warmly invite everyone to discover Ukrainian culture, creativity and hospitality.
All funds raised during the festival will go towards supporting Ukraine and people affected by the war.
