About
"It may be February outside, but it’s always August under your armpits."
Stepping Out is a rollicking comedy about a group of seven mismatched women and one brave man who attend a beginners’ tap-dancing class in a run-down church hall in North London. They turn up each week to learn a few new steps, but progress is hilariously slower for some dancers than others. When their teacher Mavis tells them they are going to perform in a local charity showcase, the pressure is on!
As they pull together to prepare for the big day, we follow the characters on a heartwarming journey that celebrates friendship, courage, and of course... dancing! Will they be ready in time?
