About

Wrestlers will be taking to the ring at Keighley Library this summer for the first ever Read‑a‑Slam - a free family event combining live professional wrestling with reading.

Delivered in partnership with Kingdom Wrestling and Bradford Libraries, the event will bring high-energy live wrestling into an unexpected setting, alongside activities designed to encourage reading and engagement in a fun and accessible way.

The unique event will be one of the highlights of the National Year of Reading events at Bradford Libraries and aims to attract new audiences into the library by blending sport, performance and literacy, showing that libraries can be vibrant, creative spaces for all ages.
