Family Light Activity at the NSMM.

About

Join the party this half term with a week of free family activities to celebrate our new exhibition, Setting the Stage: 70 Years of the Eurovision Song Contest

Party time: dress up, photo op and silent disco!

Get your dancing shoes on at the silent disco or unleash your inner pop star in the Setting the Stage performance space. Don’t forget to snap a selfie or family photo in the main foyer with sparkly, Eurovision-themed dress up.

Setting the Stage: The Gameshow

Go head-to-head with other families (or your own!) in our all-new interactive gameshow. Discover the technology that has made the Eurovision Song Contest possible over the last 70 years in the exhibition, then put your knowledge to the test.

Please note, timings for The Gameshow may vary. Please check signage or ask staff for details on the day of your visit.

Make: Celebration Badges

Express yourself with your own badge. Use UV pens to create a fun design then head to Wonderlab to see them glow.

Hands on: Eurovision Song Contest Insignia Keys

Get creative and tell everyone about where you are from in this hands-on workshop. Inspired by the Eurovision Insignia Keys, which represent the different host cities of the Contest, you’ll use modelling clay to create your own key that shows off your hometown.

On Saturday 30 May, live British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation will be available all day.
