About
From the heartbeat of reggae and rocksteady to jungle, garage, and grime, Love. Unite. Freedom. is a powerful new performance honouring the Windrush generation and the enduring influence of Black-origin music in Bradford. Created through community conversations and lived experiences, this Bradford 2025 Artist Award project blends verbatim voices, live music, and new writing to explore themes of love, unity, and connection across generations.
Led by Bradford-born soul singer Sinead Campbell and a collective of Yorkshire artists deeply rooted in Black music and culture, the show is a celebration of resilience and creativity. Whether you're drawn to the sounds of the 70s or discovering the underground beats of the 90s, this immersive experience will move you to dance, reflect, and celebrate.
