Leo Brazil at Darley Street Kitchen.

About

Leo Brazil is a genre-blending songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music fuses acoustic, folk, rock, psychedelia, and soul into a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking. From childhood recordings on a tape machine to launching his own label, Leo has carved out a unique creative path rooted in storytelling and sonic exploration.

Drawing inspiration from classic pop, the natural world, and artists like The Beatles and Radiohead, his songs connect personal emotion with vivid imagery — often featuring animals as metaphors for human experience. In the studio, Leo plays everything from drums and violin to keys and guitar, while live he brings it all together with guitar, banjo, and a powerful vocal presence.

Following a string of well-received releases in 2024 and the launch of his dinosaur-themed psych-rock project Bone Wars, Leo enters 2025 with Alone, a new acoustic-based solo album. Expect a set that moves effortlessly between tender ballads and foot-stomping anthems — all delivered with heart, humour, and a touch of wild imagination.
