About

Haworth & Yorkshire Creatives Makers Market returns with the Featured Artist Stage, showcasing work from local artists, at the Old School Room, Haworth.

Curated by Brontë Bitch, the grassroots market champions independent Yorkshire creatives and guests, bringing together 20 carefully selected makers, and artists placing the spotlight firmly on its Featured Artist Stage.

Following a successful launch, the dedicated artist space returns with Carolyn Edwards Art, KBJ Fine Art, Susie Jackson Art, Withens Art by Philippa and guest Sleepy Hedgehog Designs - throughout the weekend visitors can meet the artists, discover original work, explore a range of creative styles and watch live demonstrations, offering an experience beyond the traditional craft fair.

Market organiser Rosalia Ferrara, curator of Haworth & Yorkshire Creatives, said: "I wanted to create another opportunity for talented local artists who don't always have a local platform to demonstrate their work. Visitors can meet the artists, learn about their creative process and experience something far more engaging than simply browsing stalls."
