Where the Crawdads Sing is an engaging mystery drama film based on the hit novel by Delia Owens of the same name. An abandoned yet defiant girl raises herself to adulthood in the North Carolina Marshlands. There she becomes a self-taught naturalist and, unwittingly, the prime suspect in the murder of a local hotshot. The film stars BAFTA and Golden Globe nominee English actor Daisy Edgar-Jones. Directed by Olivia Newman, written by Lucy Alibar and produced by Reese Witherspoon, it also features the original song “Carolina” by Taylor Swift.
