Ilkley BID invites families to join the Festive Elf Hunt this Christmas, as Santa’s mischievous helpers have escaped the workshop and are hiding in 17 shops around Ilkley town centre. This free, family-friendly challenge is the perfect way to explore the town during the festive season.

How to Join In Grab an entry form from the Visitor Information Centre (next to the Library), Clip 'N Climb Ilkley Ltd, The Art Shops, or Go Outdoors. You can also download and print one at home.

Spot the Elves Each form lists the 17 participating shops. Head out, peek in windows, and explore inside to find where each elf is hiding.

Write It Down Note exactly where you saw the elf – maybe on a shelf, by the till, or tucked in a window display.

Win a Prize Hand in your completed form at any of the shops or email. Everyone who finishes the hunt will be entered into a draw to win a £50 Ilkley Gift Card.

Deadline All entries need to be in by midnight on 1 January 2026.
