A Bradford 2025 Artist-Led Award Project

Each summer, millions of honey mangoes from Pakistan arrive in the UK, sparking a vibrant trade across Bradford. But climate change and global tensions threaten this seasonal ritual and the livelihoods it supports.

Giant Mango Box is a 14x replica of the iconic mango crate, built with support from Raven Staging. Inside are three short films by Haider Mahboob, offering a glimpse into the trade—previews from a forthcoming documentary.
