All aboard the Polar Express for a month of fun this December! Take a journey to your new family tradition this Christmas with activities for all ages, inspired by classic festive films. 

IMAX 3D: The Polar Express (U) 

For children aged 8+ Before every screening, bring movie magic to life with special hands-on festive activities around the museum, and head to our Winter Wonderlab for a super cool live science show. Get ready for the star of the show, as The Polar Express returns to Yorkshire’s biggest screen in amazing IMAX 3D.

CineMinis (for children aged 5 and under) Settle in for a cosy Christmas story time in the museum before watching a festive adventure on the big screen every Friday morning through December. With special screenings of Julia Donaldson and Raymond Briggs classics, perfect for little movie lovers.  Make it a full day out with a tasty picnic lunch, Christmas colouring in, fairies and a dinosaur in the Sound and Vision galleries and playing in Wonderlab.
