About
Step aboard the Carol Service Train for a festive evening of steam, brass bands and Christmas carols along the Worth Valley.
The evening begins at 6:00 pm at Oxenhope, where the festive bar will be open in the Exhibition Shed. Following a short welcome and opening address, it’ll be time to board the steam train and get the carol singing underway.
With the Hall Royd Brass Band providing the music, the train will make its way along the Valley, stopping at Haworth, Ingrow and Keighley for carols along the way.
You’ll return to Oxenhope at around 9:25 pm, where you’ll tuck into a traditional Pie & Peas supper in the Exhibition Shed and the evening continues with a few more carols, before a closing blessing brings this festive evening to an end.
The festive bar in the Exhibition Shed will be open before the Carol Service Train departs, so there’ll be plenty of chance to grab a drink before boarding. There is no bar aboard the train, so make sure you pick up any drinks you’d like for the journey before you board.
A traditional Christmas get-together, with a little Worth Valley steam thrown in!
