‘We’re going to need considerably bigger buns.’

This Wharfedale story went viral in 1999 and is still inspiring us today. It has been a film, a play and is now a musical with passionate and catchy music by Gary Barlow and a wonderful, moving script by Tim Firth.

This is a tale of strong women supporting each other to raise money to defy a disease which touches us all. Would you dare to bear?

Well, this is what leading actress Chris has to say: ‘Frankly, guys, if anything meant we’d get that much closer to killing off this shitty, cheating, sly, conniving disease that cancer is, then God, I tell you; I would run naked round Skipton market, smeared in jam with a knitted tea cosy on my head, singing Jerusalem.’

The production contains some strong language and tasteful nudity but suitable for young people over 14.
